BEST SEEN WHERE IT BELONGS

Pegasus Airlines wanted to encourage young people to experience the localities where they belong and discover new destinations.


CHALLENGE: It is really easy to find any destination's localities in big cities. Therefore, young people developed a perception that they can experience everything by only being and/or hearing it without visiting there. But we insist on the idea that everything is best where it belongs.

THE REALIZATION: We, as Pegasus Airlines, one of the biggest low cost airlines in Turkey start out to give the idea that it is not enough to look from far, to hear about it from the others. You need to be a part of it, see it, taste it and experience it.

THE SOLUTION: We chose specific destinations from different regions in Turkey and travelled there to explore the area and looked for local stories. We shot inspirational introductory films about the destinations in stu. But the key point was; running away from the cliches and showing the uncharted ones. Furthermore, we met with local people and shared their stories in our social media accounts. Locals asked questions to our followers and then picked one out of thousands of creative answers. The owner of the chosen answer won 3days trip to that destination. We started to inspire people with Cappadocia, continued with Blacks and Aegean.
